New studies already provide more hard evidence that religion is slowly losing its grip on humanity. Two recent studies claims that religion may be on the way out in some parts of  Europe, largely because it isn’t as useful to adherents as it once was.
Churches once filled a lot of the social functions in a community. That is less true in a modern society, where there are jobs, schools, and other organizations that aren’t necessarily church-related. That alters the relative utility score.
there is less demand for religion in societies such as England where normal people are relatively comfortable and consequently a big part of the populations are already secular.
Religion evolved to help our ancestors cope with anxiety, insecurity and many different challenges to their daily lives. Even Facebook is killing religion because it provides answers for peculiarly modern narcissistic anxieties for which religion has no answer.
In 2100, religious groups may becoming tiny minorities of the global population and they will become even more marginalized as global prosperity increases and standards of living improve.
In that optimistic point of view, we still believe that as long as people have strong Faith in whichever religion it will never end.

It is likely that some future ice loss and sea level rise is now unavoidable

It isn’t only reefs and low-lying islands that are under threat from global warming. In fact, a major threat is for those large urban areas which are at risk of eventually being submerged underwater. This is caused by a change in sea levels that occurs when global warming takes place, resulting in coastal cities being destroyed by flooding. Dozens of the world’s cities, including London and New York, could be flooded by the end of the century, according to research which suggests that global warming will increase sea levels more rapidly than was previously thought. London is one of the major world capitals at high risk of this type of flooding, as depicted in this shot from the 2007 movie Flood. Scientists say that the city could be under water as early as within the next one hundred years.
